Angelbeat CEO Ron Gerber (pictured below with current Liberty Media CEO and former Microsoft & Oracle CFO Greg Maffei ) founded the company in 1998 to educate technology professionals in every major US cities about new innovations in security, IT infrastructure, network architecture and collaboration/wireless/VoIP while simultaneously exchanging ideas with their peers. The event consists of a series of short, non-salesy and educational presentations by vendors, systems integrators, consultants and/or end users. All activities take place in one spacious room, with presentations in the front and vendor exhibitions and food in the back. Presentation topics are updated annually, helping Angelbeat build a loyal following of senior technology decision-makers in each city.
